Pope Benedict XVI has declared June 19, 2009 – June 19, 2010 to be a Year for Priests.  He is inviting the Church in a special way to pray for the holiness of all priests.  To commit ourselves to this intention, there will be a special time of 24-hour Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, beginning with Mass at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 4th and ending with Mass on Friday, March 5th at 8:00 a.m.  We are in need of people to commit to an hour of prayer during this 24-hour period.  If you are willing to spend an hour in prayer (particularly during the night and early morning hours), please contact St. Mary’s Rectory at 942-1492 to inform them of the hour you are willing to be present.
